Performance Retriever Training – Elite Competitive Program

The Performance Retriever Program at Cour’s Retrievers is designed for dogs aspiring to join the most elite group of competitive retrievers in the country. This advanced program takes retrievers beyond the Advanced Gun Dog curriculum, developing them into disciplined, driven, and highly skilled competitors ready for the highest levels of retriever competition.

Through structured training and fieldwork, your retriever will:

• Perform disciplined retrieves on land and water under competitive conditions
• Develop advanced obedience and drive for field trials and hunting competitions
• Refine skills in complex, multi-bird scenarios
• Prepare for AKC and UKC competition titles, including Junior/Started Hunt Tests, Field Trial Derby, Qualifying, All-Age, and Super Retriever Series events
   

Puppies that start with the Performance Retriever program in mind receive training designed to make them confident, capable, and competitive, ready to achieve AKC and UKC recognized titles in a variety of retriever venues.

• Graduates of the Gundog Program are eligible for AKC Junior/HRC Started Hunt Tests
• Graduates of the Advanced Gundog Program are eligible for AKC Field Trial Derby, AKC Senior/UKC Seasoned Hunt Tests
• Performance Retriever training prepares dogs for Super Retriever Series, Master Hunter, and other championship-level competitions
