The Foundation of our training program is the building blocks of every other program we offer!
Puppy Imprinting is the first step in our foundation program!
This program is for puppies at the age of 12-16 weeks!

About Us
Luke Cour
Luke grew up training upland game pointers with his father, chasing quail in the wild and chasing quail at field trials! Training Gundogs has always been a passion of his since a boy. His passion for waterfowl hunting grew as he got older and, of course, every hunt is better with a dog. Luke got his first yellow lab name Colt, and the passion began! Colt went on to become a Super Retriever Series Champion, Hunting Retriever Champion, Master Hunter, Master National Hall of Fame, and a hunter with thousands of retrieves!
Luke focuses on the Gundog, Advanced Gundog, and Performance Retriever division of our programs. We participate in AKC Field Trials, Hunt Tests, and the Super Retriever Series(SRS).
Taylor Cour
Taylor has had a love for working with animals her entire life! Growing up in a hunting household, training dogs to not only work in the field but to also be a family companion quickly became a passion! Taylor’s first family retriever was a black lab name Buster. Buster went on to become an AKC Junior Hunter, and a hunting family companion!
Taylor is the foundation of Cour's Retrievers. She focuses on the Puppy Imprinting, Basic Obedience, and Gundog programs!
